Deerbrook is seeking an experienced Unit Manager!

  • RN or LVN
  • ON CALL DUTIES***
  • M-F 8-5
  • MUST HAVE at least 2 years Unit Manager or ADON experience*
  • Must have Long Term Experience

Responsibilities
– Manage and oversee the nursing unit during the evening shift (3-11p).
– Utilize nursing expertise to provide high-quality patient care.
– Supervise and mentor nursing staff, ensuring adherence to best practices.
– Implement and maintain EMR and EHR systems for accurate record-keeping.
– Coordinate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
– Demonstrate proficiency in catheterization, IV insertion, and basic life support.
– Utilize management skills to ensure efficient operations and quality care delivery.

In addition to care provided by our LVNs, RNs, & Nurse Managers, our facility also provides:

· Activities services are provided onsite to residents

Education / Qualifications:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing

Knowledge / Experience:

  • Previous long-term care or comparable hospital experience
  • At least 2 years of management experience

Licensure / Certifications:

  • Current Texas RN or LVN Nursing License
