Deerbrook is seeking to add an ACTIVITIES ASSISTANT to join our team! We are looking for an energetic person with passion for working with geriatric residents. No certification required. Responsibilities include, assisting with activities in our facility and helping to keep our residents active and happy.
- Must be willing to work Weekends and Holidays
- At least 1 year of SNF/LTC experience preferred
Job Responsibilities / Position Information for the Activity Assistant include:
· Must be creative, spontaneous and enjoy the elderly
· Must be able to manage a broad variety of activities in a skilled nursing setting
Requirements for the Assistant Activity Director include:
Education / Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
Knowledge / Experience:
- Experienced in Long Term Care Preferred
- Creative, Multi-tasked and Organized
- Professional demeanor
