Summary
As a Payroll Manager at HMG Healthcare, you will be responsible for overseeing payroll operations to ensure accurate and timely processing of employee compensation. This role is vital in supporting our mission of maintaining high employee satisfaction, which directly impacts patient care.
Responsibilities
- Manage the payroll process for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Oversee account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in payroll records.
- Utilize accounting software to maintain payroll data integrity.
- Analyze payroll data to identify trends and provide insights for operational improvements.
- Collaborate to ensure accurate employee records and benefits administration.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
- Train and support team members on payroll processes and software usage.
- Prepare reports related to payroll metrics for management review.
- Other receptionist duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Proven 2+ years experience in payroll management roles, preferably within healthcare or long-term care settings.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets effectively.
- Experience with general ledger accounting and account reconciliation processes.
- Expertise with payroll systems such as ADP required.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments while maintaining confidentiality.
