Chief Strategy Officer

Ana Pico is a healthcare executive who holds the position of Chief Strategy Officer and Managing Partner for HMG Healthcare, LLC. Ms. Pico is responsible for leading the overall company business development, strategic planning, program development, identifying new market opportunities, and driving HMG’s growth in a continuum of care model encompassing several business lines in the post-acute care sector; including Skilled Nursing, Transitional Care, Assisted Living, Independent Living, Hospice, and launching the participation of the organization in alternative payment models in the state of Texas and Kansas.

Ms. Pico has over 28 years of experience in the healthcare industry. Prior to joining HMG Healthcare, Ms. Pico served as Chief Operating Officer for Senior Care Centers, overseeing the growth and operations of 109 properties in Texas and Louisiana. In addition, she held key Executive leadership and operational roles, over her 18 year tenure, at Fundamental Clinical and Operational Services; operating in 12 states, with business lines in Skilled Nursing, Assisted Living, Hospice, Long Term Acute Hospitals, Outpatient Centers, and Subacute Centers. Ms. Pico has also served as a member of the Executive Board with the Texas Health Care Association and served as the chairman for the Multi-Facility Owners’ Committee. She continues to advocate for the healthcare profession actively participating in legislative efforts at the local, state, and national level. Ms. Pico holds a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington and is a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator.
